Hybrid hosted many German growers and other international visitors during the recent Eurotier show in Hannover, Germany.  Although this year was not a "poultry year" for the show - the attendance of turkey companies and growers was excellent.  This reflects the fact that, in Germany turkey is not considered so much poultry but competes equally with pork, broilers and veal.

German growers are demanding more Hybrid XL stock.  At present Hybrid does not have enough hatchery support in the German market for XL production, but Hybrid’s exhibition at Eurotier should stimulate more XL Parent Stock to be placed to meet grower demand.

International turkey companies that visited the booth included Canada, England, Hungary, Slovakia, Holland, France, Italy, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Egypt, Algeria and Israel.
