Hybrid Aquires Grand-Parent Turkey Farms in France

To meet the demands of growing market share in Europe and the Maghreb, Hybrid Turkeys is pleased to announce the acquisition of three Grand-Parent turkey breeder farms in France, along with two additional properties that can be used for future expansion. The farms are located near Sennevières, Departement Indres-et-Loire (37), South - East of Tours in the area of Loches. All three facilities, built recently, are designed for Grand-Parent turkey egg production and ideally suit the need for Hybrid to add production inEurope. Eggs produced in the newly acquired farms will be shipped to Hybrid’s European based Parent Stock hatchery which was acquired earlier in 2009. Hybrid Turkeys is committed to serve the turkey industry in Europe and world-wide by adding production infrastructure over more continents to secure customer supply in the most effective way. Following this acquisition, Hybrid Grand-Parent production will be located in Europe, USA, Canada, and Israel, providing a stable supply of turkey genetics for Hybrid customers throughout the world.
