Hybrid Joins Hendrix

On June 4 Hendrix Genetics successfully completed the acquisition of Hybrid Turkeys, along with our sister companies; Hypor, Hybro, and Plumex. This historic move creates a dynamic multi-species breeding organization with markets and breeding facilities around the globe.

For Hybrid it means being part of a larger, dedicated breeding group capable of supporting the ongoing research and development work and long quality initiatives that are so necessary within the turkey primary breeding business.

Hendrix Genetics has acquired the animal breeding activities of Euribrid from Nutreco

Today, is a great day for Hendrix Genetics. It marks the re-unification of Euribrid (Broiler, Pig and Turkey Breeding) and Hendrix Genetics (Layer Breeding and Commercial Layer Distribution) in one, worldwide animal genetics group with a robust organization, worldwide spread and sufficient scale to fund the ongoing intensification of our R&D programs.

We have a strong basis now to continue and create stakeholders value as one of the few remaining multi-species breeding groups and are proud to have been able to unite all the strengths of people, assets and products that compose Hendrix Genetics today.

It is our aim to work as focused breeding companies by our product division organization, but capture also the synergies in working together where possible and desirable in e.g. sales, R&D and shared offices. This is reflected in our commonly implemented uniform green & blue corporate colours. Both, the family as well as the individual companies, are clearly visible.

We will work with a balanced focus on technology, people and financials with a down to earth, pragmatical and entrepreneurial approach in a setting of motivating family values, thus creating ³fun and profitability² for our clients, our employees, shareholders and suppliers, based on long term relationships.
