Meet Pete Beckner, Manager of our Beresford facility and hatchery in South Dakota. Pete's career path started in the pork and beef industry in various project and maintenance management roles before joining the Hybrid team in 2020.

Pete's biggest strength is finding ways to bring a team of people together. His philosophy? "I'll never ask you to do anything that I won't do myself." He also believes in empowering his team to come up with solutions, instead of focusing on the problem. With a strong mechanical background, Pete has been instrumental in building valuable processes in Beresford, such as a maintenance program, to reduce downtime and ensure smooth operations.

When he's not hard at work, Pete is all about the great outdoors—motorcycling, ATVing, boating, and spending quality time with his kids. His home base is Le Mars, Iowa, known as the ice cream capital of the world!
