These Commercial Nutrient Guidelines pertain to the Hybrid Converter.

We recognize the need to change the energy levels in your diets and so we offer this tool to evaluate and compare the effects of these changes.

Note: All changes should be implemented gradually to minimize stress on your flock. Changes should only be performed in consultation with an experienced nutritionist.

Directions (Web Tool):

  1. Choose your preferences from the drop‑down lists below: Amino Acid Basis, Sex, Diet Number, and Units.
  2. The tool automatically uses the recommended ME for your selection and displays it in the chosen units.
  3. Adjust the energy amounts in the cells "User Energy Input" to your desired level.*
  4. The information within the table will adjust accordingly to display your custom results.
  5. Use Export CSV to download the current results.

* User Energy Input is option, adjustable columns. Use these columns if you want to see the effects of varying the recommended energy levels. Disregard step 3 above if you only want to follow the Hybrid Guidelines.

Additional Information

Performance will depend on feed quality and proper nutrient evaluation of the ingredients used. Seasonality, weather and other factors can affect performance.

Available amino acids, when displayed in this tool, are calculated using feed ingredient digestibility coefficients from Ajinomoto Heartland LLC.

Turkeys should be fed to feed amounts and not to specific time period ranges.

To calculate feed amounts please visit www.hybridturkeys.com/calculator and click to view the Commercial Energy Consumption Calculator.

In most situations, these amino acids should have minimum formulation specification values: arginine, lysine, methionine, methionine + cysteine, threonine, and valine.

Calcium total is that obtained by lab analysis and can be reduced with phytase use.
