Meet Jason Payne, one of our exceptional team members at Hybrid. Jason's journey began with aspirations of becoming a pediatrician, but a shift towards research during his neuroscience undergrad changed his course.
Pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Georgia, he delved into embryology, transgenics, genetics, and blackhead disease research. Followed by 3 years of post-doctoral research assessing aspects of endocrine signaling and metabolism. Driven by a desire for practical application, Jason entered the industry. He joined Hybrid in January 2022.
His expertise spans various areas, from disease management to farm facility optimization. Jason plays a crucial role in supporting growers throughout the United States. In customer interactions as well as with internal colleagues, Jason’s strength lies with being perceptive and digging into multifaceted issues, fostering constructive conversations that enhance overall performance.
Outside work, Jason has a young family and is active in his church community. Formerly a paintball hobbiest, he enjoys strategy and competition. "I don't have to win, but I enjoy the competition. I enjoy being challenged to ask questions and find solutions, and I feel that in all aspects of life," he says. Jason's commitment to strategic thinking, customer relations, and problem-solving makes him an invaluable asset to our team. We appreciate his dedication to driving excellence in the turkey industry!
