Brooding is a crucial time, where the temperature needs to be just right in order for the birds to feel comfortable enough to move around and begin eating and drinking.

From week 6 onward, temperature guidelines are generally similar between male and female birds. At all ages, pay attention on both bird comfort and the felt temperature of the birds.
