A look back at the Turkey Science and Production Conference

From March 6 to 8, the Hybrid Turkeys teams attended the annual Turkey Science and Production Conference in Chester, UK.

This major event brings together all the major players in the turkey industry to discuss new scientific and technological advancement, as well as new market trends.

Hybrid Turkeys, and more generally Hendrix Genetics, were well represented, with the presence of Richard Maatman, CEO of Hendrix Genetics, and Dave Libertini, Senior Advisor of Hybrid Turkeys. Felipe Bugueño, Area Sales Manager, South America presented on brooding management and Dennis Janssen spoke on the power of our multi-species breeding technology.

More than 300 people were present to enjoy numerous presentations on technical and scientific subjects such as genetics, ventilation, innovation, technical optimization of flocks, nutrition and pathologies.

Discussions continued at a customer dinner organized by Hybrid Turkeys on Wednesday evening, followed by the official dinner on Thursday evening.

These three days were a real opportunity for our teams to meet with customers and partners, exchange information on new scientific topics, and listen to the needs of the market.
