Empowering Egypt’s Turkey Producers: Conference Recap

Turkey producers from across Egypt gathered for an insightful and collaborative event co-sponsored by Hybrid Turkeys and Pyramids Poultry. This conference was the first of its kind and tailored for turkey producers looking for practical strategies to boost productivity, reduce costs, and ensure consistent quality.

The conference theme, “Grown Right: From Genetics to Nutrition,” set the tone for a day focused on actionable knowledge and insights. Attendees explored how genetics and nutrition work hand-in-hand to unlock the full potential of turkey production.

Key Highlights

Experts from the Hybrid Turkeys team, including Matthias Adam, Abdelhak Jemal, and Jeremy Boutant, spoke on the latest genetic advancements, market outlook, nutrition strategies, and technical recommendations to drive performance. Producers learned how leveraging high-quality genetics along with strong management can lead to healthier flocks and improved profitability.

Nutrition specialists then presented practical feeding programs designed to optimize growth rates while maintaining high-quality standards. These strategies emphasized cost-effectiveness without compromising bird health or meat quality.

Engagement & Networking

Producers had the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and network with industry peers and experts. The day concluded with a turkey dinner and more time for connection.

Thank you to all those who made this conference a success. We were proud to take part in this event to support the turkey production sector in Egypt, equipping producers with tools and knowledge to thrive in a competitive market.
