Farm Fresh Turkeys Wins Award for Outstanding Flock Performance

Our team recently traveled to Farm Fresh Turkeys (formerly Plainville Farms) for a customer visit. While there, we were happy to present their farm teams with 3 Flock of the Month awards in recognition of their exceptional flock performance metrics and commitment to continuous improvement.

Farm Fresh Turkeys is a producer of organic and antibiotic-free turkeys. Located in New Oxford, Pennsylvania, they are known for their commitment to quality and health.

“We’re incredibly proud of our team,” said T.J. Leedy, who accepted the award. “From brooding to finish, every stage of the bird’s life is carefully managed. Our focus is on quality management and doing what’s right for the birds.”

“Recognition like this is validating,” said Kevin Brubacher, “but for us, the real reward is raising healthy birds and producing quality food for families across the country.”

Outstanding Results

Farm Fresh Turkeys' performance exceeded industry benchmarks in multiple areas:

  • Livability: 92.1%
  • Feed Conversion Ratio: 2.10
  • Average Daily Gain: 0.3453 lbs

Well done to Farm Fresh Turkeys and all the growers for their stellar work!
