Hybrid in Action: Technical Exchange in Chile

At Hybrid Turkeys, we believe that strong partnerships are built through open dialogue, shared learning, and hands‑on collaboration. Recently, our team had the opportunity to visit Ariztia, a long‑standing customer in Chile, reinforcing our commitment to working side by side as partners in excellence.

A Long‑Standing Partner in Latin American Turkey Production

Ariztia is one of Chile’s most established poultry companies, with more than 130 years of history and a strong presence in both broiler and turkey production. They are the only turkey producer in Chile that provides fresh products to the market. The company entered the turkey business in the early 1990s and has worked with Hybrid Turkeys for decades, supplying high‑quality poultry products to the Chilean market and beyond.

Turkey production in Latin America remains a specialized but important segment of the turkey industry. Countries such as Chile, Brazil, and Mexico are key contributors to regional consumption and production, with turkey valued for its versatility, nutritional profile, and role in both fresh and processed products.

Sharing Knowledge to Drive Results

The itinerary included tours of several commercial and parent stock turkey farms. This gave a great opportunity to exchange knowledge around bird management and environmental controls. These on‑site discussions allowed our team to better understand the specific needs within Ariztia’s production system and offer potential solutions to enhance performance.

To wrap up the visit, William Alexander, Technical Sales Representative, delivered an extensive Minimum Ventilation training session to Ariztia’s turkey and broiler production teams. Minimum ventilation plays a critical role in maintaining air quality, managing moisture, and supporting bird health, especially in the brooding stage, making the whole process more efficient and profitable.

A big thank you to the Ariztia team for their openness, engagement, and continued collaboration. We believe that these in-depth exchanges are the foundation of a strong partnership, now and in the future.
