Trevor Aitchison takes on enhanced role within Hybrid Turkeys
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Trevor Aitchison as General Manager, Turkey Breeding NA.
The industry has seen a significant transformation over the past 5 years including both breeding companies expanding into commercial distribution in North America. As such, we have refined our structure to offer dedicated focus to each of our two key areas of business: breeding and distribution.
Breeding
Trevor Aitchison, in his newly appointed position, will lead the Breeding North America division. This division is focused on serving the needs of our parent stock customers through excellent product quality paired with pre and post sales experiences.
Trevor has almost 30 years of experience with Hybrid Turkeys, working his way up the ranks through various roles over the years, and is excited to take on this new role.
My passion for business and for Hybrid Turkeys are key drivers in taking on this role. I feel connected to the company, and I’m personally invested in making sure we are successful in what we do. Working together is absolutely crucial to our success and I am privileged to work with so many great people within Hybrid and the industry as a whole.

Distribution
The distribution side of the business will continue to be led by TJ Koewler, General Manager, Turkey Distribution USA, who joined Hybrid Turkeys in April 2022. This division maintains a similar focus of delivering excellence through great product quality and customer experiences.

TJ and Trevor will work in close collaboration given the tied nature of the breeding and distribution activities in North America to ensure we deliver excellence throughout each step in the value chain.
These changes showcase our ongoing commitment to customers and to the industry to ensure continuous progress in all aspects of our contributions to the industry. By simplifying our structure, we can offer better support to our customers, thus deepening our connections and resulting in a more sustainable turkey industry.
