Strengthening Bonds and Sharing Knowledge at TSPC 2025

This year's conference was once again the meeting place of the European turkey industry. The event featured a mix of networking, presentations, and discussions, all set within the warm and close-knit atmosphere of the turkey industry.

Presentation Highlights

Informative presentations were once again the cornerstone of the conference, including three from the Hybrid team. R&D Innovations and Focus on the Future (Charlie de Hollander) explored advancements in genetic selection and how they are shaping the next generation of high-performing turkeys. Data Analysis and Feedback to Enhance Performance and Genetic Progress (Sylvain Briere) provided valuable insights into leveraging data-driven strategies to optimize flock management and improve productivity. Finally, Strain Typing of Pasteurella and Biosecurity Implications (Dr. Gérard Lévêque) shed light on this health challenge including strategies for prevention and control.

A Turkey Tradition

The gala dinner was another highlight of the event. Each year, conference newcomers are welcomed with the honor of Master Carver (turkey hat included). This tradition showcases turkey as a premium protein and kicks off an evening of laughter, great food, and shared passion of the industry.
