View The Flock of the Month

Using available customer data from all over North America, this initiative selects the top performing flock for each month.

The goal of Flock of the Month is to give insight into the performance of our products and the success of our customers under real-life conditions. This month we are also featuring top single trait performance to recognize these standout results.

How do we select the Flock of the Month?

The Flock of the Month is determined using a performance index (PI) combining multiple measures, including average daily gain (ADG), livability, and feed conversion ratio. We examine the customer data available for the latest reporting period and make a selection of the top performing flock overall.

Balanced selection is key in the development of the Hybrid Converter, while still delivering strong results in the traits that matter most for our customers. These genetics are designed to support more sustainable turkey production, including increased breast meat yield, improved feed conversion, and superior reproductive traits. We remain committed to balanced, sustainable breeding that looks at the big picture in delivering value for our customers and the industry. If you would like to discuss your own flock results and how to take your performance to the next level, reach out to our technical team.
